Isaac had his first soccer game tonight. I am SO proud of him! He was so excited! It was freezing cold - about 35 degrees! The other team scored the first two goals, which upset Isaac. He started to cry and was so disappointed. This is his first time playing any competitive sport so I'm sure it is hard...but a great lesson! I told him to dry his tears and get back in the game, which he did after half-time. He scored 2 goals!! He was so proud! He looked so happy and threw his hands up in the air! The other team but us by a few goals but Isaac was the only one on his team to score! WAY TO GO, B!! NUMBER 8 IS GREAT!!!
Here's Isaac before the game...super excited!
The cute boy, number 8, after the game. He was FREEZING!! He had to use his socks as gloves!

On another note...
Gabi got a new baby from the consignment sale. It's a baby Elmo...her favorite!! She LOVES Sesame Street. We watch it every day! This baby Elmo drinks from the bottle and makes sucking sounds. When you take the bottle out it makes a 'pop' sound, like the bottle popping out of her mouth. Gabi was very unsure of baby Elmo at first but has warmed up to him!

I live in South Texas so that it doesn't get quite as cold, but we had one game that was COLD!! The winds were fierce and we couldn't wait for the game to be over. The kids were real troopers and played a good game, but they were so cold. When it's that cold, you really don't want to be the goalie!
I was in North Little ROck last summer. We were visiting my second cousin. His grandparents were my great-grandparents. It was wonderful to hear stories about my great-grandparents since I never met them.
Have a great day! - Teresa
